Did you ever hear the analogy of the frog in a pot of water? It goes something like this: if you take a frog and stick it in a pot of water on a stove and turn the heat way up, it will try and jump out of the water due to the discomfort. However, if you turn the heat up very slowly, it will stay in the pot until it is cooked to death because it didn't notice the gradual yet harmful change in its environment. This is what I thought of when you were commenting on the alarming amount of mind control you saw coming through the TV once you had gotten away from it. You got out of the pot! In doing so, you were able to see the drastic change over time while the people simmering daily in the harmful environment didn't notice anything.
They may not even know they're in a pot of water. That's pretty scary. Almost everything out there is some for of misinformation or distraction. We are being dumbed down. Or permitting it...
Obviously, I don't live in anybody else's head, but I wonder if there is a deep yet quiet awareness of the path that gets ignored because it just too much work for some theoretical benefit. It takes some serious focus and dedication to ignore the all of the carnival lights and sounds masquerading as news nowadays. It's just so much easier to succumb and let somebody else do the thinking and work. Then there is social media, with no pretense of anything beneficial or even objective at all. Ra called it "the vast sinkhole of indifference." I wonder if it is indifference or actually willful avoidance.
Ultimately, its all a choice, isn't it? And thank God for it, because if it weren't there, how could anyone choose the opposite?

Thank you Theo for your thoughtful insights, Im new to The Law of One, so your posts have helped explain a few things for me. I just wanted to comment about television...I moved to rural Australia in 2006 and havent watched TV since. At first I read a lot of books, and eventually I got internet as I got solar power. When I first started interacting with people again I thought I was wording myself too simply, because I kept attracting really simplistic thinking, and I dont mean in it lacked complexity, it was simple talk. Then I stayed somewhere for some time that had TV, and I was so shocked at the blatant mind control tactics and the obvious lies being told by governments and the media. People were really being dumbed down, and when its all they know, they cant see it.
Im very selective the news I see, and from which source. I subscribe to Gaia TV and I do have access to Netflix now, but Im in control of the material my psyche is exposed to. But I am still constantly amazed at how ignorant people are.

I was thinking about the set up of this frustrating 3D incarnation we find ourselves in. Ra says some things that, if tied together, makes me think this place is supposed to be this difficult to ensure that we feel the motivation to polarize. Some statements come to mind: 1) 3D Earth humans are largely composed of 3D repeaters from Mars and Maldek. Societies that were so belligerent that they blew the atmosphere off their planet(Mars) and even blew their whole planet apart to rubble(Maldek). After they ruined their 3D homes, they were purposely brought to Earth to complete their 3D experience. The racial memories of tribalism, violence and the service to self path remain. This has been impossible to overcome. 2) The opposable thumb was created by genetic design to discourage the development of telepathy/thought sharing and encourage the use of external tools like weapons. 3) The larynx was developed to allow for the confusion created by language. 4) The veil...Apparently prior Logi had no veil. The result was that there was no motivation to polarize because everybody knew they were one and the idea of the path towards unity was fully understood. Because of this, the time to graduate thru 3D took a very long time, so the Logi decided to implement to veil to create the illusion of separation to speed up the polarization process.

All of this makes me think, that either by design or happenstance, this place is SUPPOSED to be a meat grinder. I think the next question is whether or not we can get over ourselves and fix this place. So far, we haven't. According to Ra, a small percentage of the population will graduate to 4D and the rest will repeat the 3D experience on another planet. They said Earth will no longer be able to support 3D entities. It is currently converting to a 4th density planet where the inhabitants will have light and not chemical bodies to use for spiritual growth. I guess what I'm getting at is that as long as Earth is in 3D, expect the brutal pinch of catalyst. It won't get better, because it can't. There will be no "3D Heaven on Earth." It will be a 4D experience and I hope to see you all there!

Nice post. It is dangerous to be passive with regard to the information offered to us by TV and the Internet. Most of it is contaminated with bias and agenda for the purpose of control. The amount of intentional mental programming is staggering. You kind of need a "defense against the Dark Arts" class to get yourself on the proper footing before looking at any source of news. What we are being programmed to think, among other things, is that separation is natural and good, that violence is part of daily life, and that materialism will define and fulfill you. Active counter measures are essential to keeping yourself properly aligned.

This kind of hints at a much larger problem behind all of this 3D service to self activity: you can't really trust anybody else to have your best interest at heart. If everybody ACTUALLY believed that all is One, we would be having a completely different experience. In the dark reaches of humanities heart, I think there is a festering clot of selfishness that keeps the majority of people from giving themselves over to unity because they don't really believe the next person will respond in kind. So either people are naturally selfish or it is a a defense mechanism. The end result is the same .

The only things that I can really do are work on me and give my best effort to others. To cherish that I have the desire to seek and be grateful for the opportunity to evolve my spirit towards love through catalyst. ..That's what makes me happy.

If a person can bend a spoon with focused thought, imagine what one-hundred, one-thousands, one-million or one-billion people can accomplish with thought. This is both fascinating and terrifying at the same time. If watching the news makes one angry, hateful or brings up negative emotions, perhaps one should consider watching something uplifting. Since consciousness creates, what do we want to create? I would much rather have my grandchildren grow up in a world full of love, joy, wonder and harmony NOT bigotry, hatred, violence, starvation, disease, death and negative. Let's create a paradise together not hell.
